2012 is the Year of the Dragon and throughout Hong Kong, there will be a wide variety of events happening and many lively things to do throughout the city. Here are some of the highlights you'll want to check out during CNY.
1. Now in its 17th year, the Cathay Pacific International Chinese New Year Night Parade is one giant harbour-front street party happening on January 23rd starting at 8:00pm. The parade route starts from the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui featuring many colorfully illuminated floats plus a variety of international + local performing artists. This entertaining event will surely be a crowd-pleaser for all ages.
