We are having to get private medical insurance. My husband has a BMI of about 32 but his lean mass would leave him with a BMI of about 28 - still off the standard charts. Anyone have any recommendations for insurance companies likely to cover?

If he's got that much muscle could you not explain and/or send a picture because BMI is no good tool if you've got a lot of lean mass.
I managed to get down to about 80 kg from 104 kg. That meant from BMI ~33 to 25. I could loose more but am right now on the border to obese even though I feel and look good (according to myself haha).
I have never had a problem getting medical insurance in HK, and my BMI was well over 30 when I started. I use William Russell, who are an advertiser here (via a broker who is persona non grata here unfortunately).
