    Orthopedist for Torn ACL

Managed to do some damage to my knee and according to an MRI have torn my ACL and done some damage to cartilage as well. I'm covered by BUPA from work but just want to get a recommendation on a doctor to see for a second opinion.

I saw Dr. Henry Ho at Crawford House in Central initially and trust him, but just want to cover my bases.

Any recommendations on a doctor to see for the second opinion or reviews of Dr. Ho would be really helpful.

I'm in my twenties, in pretty athletic shape, and want to make sure that I am able to recover to being able to stay pretty active eventually (running, basketball, swimming, skiing, etc.).

Don't you need to see a physio?

I have seen a physio and will need to see one post-surgery. The problem is that with a completely torn ACL I need to have surgery to reconstruct it, not just physiotherapy to build muscle and rehabilitate.

My husband has gone to a couple different doctors in this practice and was happy with them.

Recommend CC Kong at Asia-Medical Specialists, did a great job on rebuilding my ACL (also a complete tear) and my bucket handle tear of my miniscus

I'm 34 and should make a full recovery, if you get surgery and follow the rehab fully you'll be fine

I second that, Mr Elle got his left elbow fixed there (it was butchered in Princess Margaret Hospital after a cycling accident).
