where are your users?
what kind of service are you providing?
what sort of port speed do you need?
(For Hk.Com's sake .. anything other than PCCW ... they're a retail broadband provider .. not a hosting company in my opinion... ).
Singtel seemed to be a good option when we'd looked at co-locating in HK. ( http://business.singtel.com/singtel_...n_benefits.asp )
The bandwidth charges a bit too high for a couple of video streaming applications we run on one of our sites, so we abandoned the idea and stuck to the US host we're on.

If they're in the US .. don't bother with HK hosting.
One thing ... if you're colocating in the US .. do not buy your own equipment. It might make you liable for US taxes. Lease your equipment from a dedicated server outfit.
We use HE.NET and EV1Servers.Net (not too sure about whats happening there right now as they have been bought out by The Planet.. waiting to hear back from my sales rep).
before I reply, can you tell me why do you need 10Mbit to run a web site?
What size are these 3 servers? 1U or 2U or bigger?
The reasons to move into a data center are:
when you need a load of high capacity.
when you don't have the room/
Your servers/storage are power guzzlers, the ac to cool them is heavy and it is costing too much electricity.
A 2 or 4 Mbit symetric may also be a cheap way to go, specially if your servers are not rack mounted.
Hk.Com, just curious.. how much does a 4Mbps symetric connetion cost these days? When we moved to our office, the cost in Central was fairly pricey .. 6-8K / month depending on who we talked to and it wasnt available in a number of Grade-B and lower buildings.
No, this has to be co-located in HK. thanks for the advice guys.
I'm just looking for a specific co location in HK,not interested in US matters.
So you want a colo in HK with 10Mbps bandwidth with 80% of your customers located in the US, so you'll be needing a dedicated 10Mbps pipe across the Pacific then. That's going to cost you a fair bit...
gotta spend money to make money
