How does the McDonalds free WiFi works?

Has any living human successfully logged in to the McD WiFi? I thought it's free WiFi, but then, you need a password, or sign up, or...? Is it really free?

You most likely have to buy some food and it's probably time limited too to 20 mins or maybe 1 hour. Never done it so couldn't give you a good answer sorry.

I read something about "20 Minutes" too, not sure in what exact context. I do buy food items there here and then.

The McD WiFi seem to be worldwide. It China you get the same login screen (that's the page where you can't login).

I have used it and yes it works just fine, and yes, it's only for 20 mins.
Once you connect to it and save the settings, you should be able to connect every time.

You need to sign up or did you ask for a password?

When you connect to mcd wifi, it takes you to a login page, where you have a chance to opt for the paid/premium wifi or 20 mins free wifi, you select the free wifi, and it asks your details, fill them in and click ok, and you are in.

Doubt it. They just need your money!

They should print a docket for you. Doubt they will need your id or credit card.

    Just check details before ordering.
