Hi,
First let me thank all the forum members for making this forum full of informationa nd personal experiences. It is a good way to start planning for right bank and account.
I'm resident and citizen of India. I want to open a personal account in HK. In India there are restrictions on capital account transaction. I plan to open offshore firm in HK. So I want to open a personal account in HK to keep my profit from trading in financial instruments.
I plan to open smartvantage account with HSBC. I have this one question:
In India when we want to open a 'savings account' we give a cheque of nominal amount alongwith the forms duly filled and difference amount to maitain the minimum relationship balance is done after account is open. I want to know how it works in HK. How do I fund my account?
I plan to withdraw funds from my trading account to the bank account. It takes two days to arrive by TT into account.
Regards,
