I looked at those reviews and I'm frankly quite surprised that I've not run into any of those issues. But then I looked a bit more carefully and the complaints all seem to be UK based.
Perhaps PPP is using different rules and different teams to serve international customers. We've not had anything but good service from them in all the years.
Disclaimer : I have no relationship to PPP other than being a customer.

But you also have to submit your claims to the UK and call staff in the UK whenever you have any issues, no?
Reminded by this thread, I called them again yesterday night and asked about where they think they paid me. After digging around in the system for a few minutes, the agent said "Oh, here it says it was paid to your citi bank account". I have never had a bank account with citi. Well. He said he was going to find out and get back to me...

Yes. And one thing I do like is the fact that a native speaker is always on the other end of the phone. They understand the issues without having to repeat or put into simpler terms.

Its normal for AXA PPP to tell you that your claims have been resolved. After weeks of waiting for the payments to come through to the bank, you'll start looking for answers by calling them. They will tell you someone will call back but that will NEVER happen as er2 said. And suddenly you'll be told the documents you submitted are ineligible ! And this is for a claim they said has been resolved. They are pathetic.

You might get a little better service if you or your partner are somehow connected to the UK because in that case its easier to hire a lawyer or to approach the financial ombudsman. I wish I could sue AXA PPP but sitting all the way in HK makes that tough. Spending on lawyer fees for 2000 HKD doesn't seem worth it and they know most people will just let go. Hence the abysmal service they provide.

i have to say that i dont like BUPA at all (as a company insurance provider). we used to have Generali which was always great to deal with. BUPA is like fine-print, negotiation, etc over every of your claim.
