Citibank Octopus VISA vs. Sliced Bread

    I just like it.

No more going to the hole in the wall, just to get cash to give to take half a block to 7-11 (yes, I know there are other ways to re-charge an Octopus...) I just use the Octopus card anywhere and for everything, and it automatically tops up with HK$250 from my bank account. At this rate, I might even have to learn what it means to "dood"!

AAVS has been around since 1999.

But I guess someone is excited to see this for the first time.

It is incredibly convenient although becomes very very easy to impulse purchase without even opening your wallet...

when you use the citibank octopus, does it show up on account statement as each vendor purchases? Or just show each time you re-charge?

Sorry, I voted for sliced bread. I don't get the big deal of an Octopus cc? There are CustomerService Centers at all MTR stations where I come everyday anyways and I just hand them a HKD 500,- note and they top up the card. Done in 5 seconds!
