    Getting an ITIN number from Hong Kong

    How can I get a notarised passport that is acceptable to the IRS for the purpose of getting an ITIN number.

    The standards seems especially strict and not just any notary public can do it i.e a U.S. notary public who is allowed under U.S. state law to notarize foreign documents. (according to their website)

    I'm not a US citizen.

    Contact a US Consulate or a Immigration lawyer as they can probably guide you as well.
