Thanks for the address. But is the nearest stop KCR Tai po market?or do we need to bus it somewhere.
I will run the address by my friend to see if she knows the name of the shopping arcade its based at.

My hair is quite fine.Dont ask me why im having a straightening when most chinese hair is straight anyway.
The cut shouldnt be a problem a trim will do, as my style is the typical chinese style with floppy fringe to one side, layered and thinned.

Hi, yeah just get off at Tai Po station and if you know Tai Po just walk towards Tai Po centre. If it's just the straightening your after though you could could go to any old hairdresser, as i'm not sure if the special offer is still on and I recommend this place because of the excellent cut i'm sure most local hairdressers would do a similar job as ioning is concerned...

    Tala's Hair & Beauty Centre

Hi this question is for Judy regarding Tala's Hair & Beauty Centre. I was wondering:
    1. which type of hair straightening did you do?
    2. How much was it?
    3. Which stylist straightened your hair?

Also, how were the results from the straightening? (ie. too flat, hair fell out, just enough volume...etc)

    Also, to everyone:
Which type of hair straightening is the best for fine wavy hair? I have virgin hair, and i don't want to damage my hair a lot from straightening it.

    Thanks

I showed my wife this post and she went there. It was half the cost of where she normally gets it done in Central. Now her hair that is supposed to have blonde highlights is completely orange. She is going back to the normal hairdressor in Central today to get it corrected.

    Hi TX75070,

Sorry to learn about your wife's experience but not knowing her previous coloring/highlightening history I can not make a comment regarding her orange hair.

Myself, I have never had a problem and I too have blonde highlights and lowlights...grew up a blonde but with age and less sun my hair has gone darker than I like so I have it done artifically.

However, the entire reason why I started to use Hajirah is because I had gone to a salon in Central (ironically & twist of fate) that had turned my hair yellow, almost the same colour of the Seasme Street character Big Bird! When I went back the next day to have the salon repaired it they the repair job damaged my hair as it was too much colour in a short period of time and my roots / hair folics did not have enough time to recover from the previous colouring.

Now, I know as it has been well documented in professional hair dressing publications and stylist advice - that a minimum of 7 days is reommended between hair colouring.

Sorry to hear that. I went to visit her last week after reading Alby's recommendation and had my hair coloured (dark / light blonde) and it was good.

I know it's going to be hard to find a hairdreser that meets my requirements, whoever gives me an answer is a genius...
My friend is running a hair-saloon in Tai Poo, and of course she speaks English. You may go there and look for her. If you want the addy of the shop and the contact number, just let me know.
