Almost New To Hk

Hi people,
i quite new to hong kong originaly from the uk, but have been living in thailand for the last three years,
im now doining a bit of design work out here. looking to meet some new intresting people pref with similar creative intrests?
anyone out there?
have met freinds of freinds etc... but find it overwhelming to be round 20 new people all at once -need to take it a little slower and get to know a few people to have a decent converstion with,

well im interested in art/design etc.. I've done a bit of web design in the past, also studied fashion design a bit..I'm actually just passing the time till the next school year so i could enroll in school..im still choosing between advertising or fashion design

I'm also a Graphic Artist, trained in Australia. Technically I'm not doing much graphic art here in Hong Kong but it is my main skill. I'm am 27, my wife is 24 - I've been in Hong Kong since ... errm March 2006 - dude, I was 25 then, and my wife 22 and now I sound oooooooold. We live in Fanling which may or may not be a long way from you.

I am not doing any work related to design really but i have great interests in it and I am considering of doing a course. Would love to join your meeting sometime. I am new to Hong Kong as well, been here just a month.

yeah i propose we have a meet up, I have to go to shanghai fabric fair next week and wont be free till friday eve---anyone free then?
if not then i suggest sunday arvo, maybe we meet for tea/coffe or something, then follow on for dinner if people fancey it?
im not to much into the whole bar scene at the moment, or maybe i just havent found the right places-good vibes etc...
