I got in an early showing, its a very small theatre, make sure you don't book at the front or on the sides. It can be quite uncomfortable.

I work next to Megabox and the trip on the bus can be excruciatingly slow, I'd highly recommend walking if its not too humid. They recently changed to have the outgoing bus leave the basement which is crazy.

It is really that nice? I just checked out the website and the list of stores doesn't sound that exciting. is it the largest Mall in HK? If not, what is the largest?

It has the potential to be the largest but maybe not the most popular largely due its location. The largest has to be Festival Walk - anyone care to concur?

I must dissent and state the true fact, that "Harbour City" is officially the largest mall - as certified by last weeks Chinese Paper.

Megabox maybe Mega, but Harbour City is and will be the largest in Hong Kong, despite the many new developments that was spoke of in that very article.

Been there few times , most recently last Sunday, hoping to try ice skating.. So crowded that we decided to go to Festival walk(they were even letting people use the cargo lift!!).Once watched a game of Ice hockey while waiting for the movie to start. Will probably go back in six months...

Harbour City - 2 million sq.ft. retail space
Mega Box - 1.1 million sq.ft. retail space which is the same as cityplaza also with 1.1m and fractionally bigger than Festival walk at 1m sq.ft. I'm pretty sure these are gross floor area figures so include back of house circulation, back of house facilities and arcade circ. As Mega Box is so vertical I'd take a guess that cityplaza is more efficient and therefore has more more leasable space - not that size matters.

Ah but Ocean Terminal shops are often included as being part of Harbour City.

I actually braved the nasty weather to check out megabox yesterday... overall impressive was that it wasn't designed very well and i think many of the other malls (including the ones that davidhk mentioned) are far nicer... i checked out the much talked-about B&Q and Spotlight... B&Q is 'okay'... a scaled down version of home depot altho i am really curious what families in hk would need to buy slabs of wood... and Spotlight reminded me of a cross between bed bath & beyond/walmart/michael's in the u.s... it was kinda depressing-looking... overall was kinda disappointed... not really worth the trip.
