Just wondered, does HK has any online groceries store for the time-poor expat? Where does the majority shop for their groceries? In the UK, we have M&S, Waitrose.... what's the HK equivalent?

Both of which are a little downmarket of Waitrose/M&S for food, although perfectly adequate for bulk stuff (water, detergent, toilet rolls, etc). The more upmarket shops (Great, CitySuper and so on) have delivery available but I think you actually need to buy the stuff in the shop first. This isn't too bad since big supermarkets and working areas are fairly mixed up here - you don't go out of town for your groceries. And in the climate here you don't really want to rely on delivery for fresh produce.
Yeah,
Both Wellcome and Park 'N Shop have on-line shopping and it's probably best for bulky items like water, wine etc.
Biggest problem is the four most common words heard in the Hong Kong grocery business "Sorry, Out Of Stock!" Sometimes these are the most common items.
If you're expecting to order something you need for tomorrow's big important meal when you're having the boss over, don't risk it.
I use it every week but there's always a glitch. Last week, PNS delivered our stuff to the wrong address. Luckily, the people that received it called us (our telephone number was on the invoice) and we could go pick it up. PNS used to leave stuff outside your flat door but won't any longer so someone needs to be at your place to receive it.
I used to have the out of stock problem with Wellcome, but rarely now. And fortunately they do still leave outside, and I've never had a problem because of that (except that the delivery people steal the little sticker things for whatever special offer is going on at the moment, to the annoyance of my helper who would otherwise get them,)
I used p. and s. a few times, and they have a very consistent tendency of forgetting items, but charging you for them. So you do need to go through the shopping, and E-mail them if an item is missing. The day after (or 2 days after) they called me and gave me credit for the next purchase.
Also, yes they don't deliver with a refrigerated van, so all your frozen goods are unfrozen.
