i notice a lot of people look at girls, pretty much the answer i expected. so what if she spots you catching a glimpse, you smile? smirk? oggle more?

im normally in a rush when i walk so i cant exactly take the time to make an advance if she was to take interest in my sexy gaze.

To answer OP's question, I usually walk pretty fast and so I look to avoid bumping into anyone and find gaps. Though if I am taking a leisurely walk or can't walk faster due to the pedestrian traffic, I look around me, that includes, advertisements, shops, pretty gals, people etc.

You have some interesting questions posed. Very similar to the miscellaneous question I ask myself.

I shut myself down when walking down the street. I think it's a coping mechanism developed after coming to Hong Kong where I can retain my energy to keep focus later. Most the time I daydream about things as I walk and take zero notice to signs, advertisements, shops... etc. I do have a thing w/ beverage stores, so the only place I'll stop at are these stores for a couple minutes.

im not talking about when youre on a stroll, cause obviously youd be looking at the view or whoever it is that may be walking with you.

i mean when youre doing idle walk, like walking to work where you see the same scene every day. so what do you look at?

i tend to look at anything that shows a reflection of myself. thats one thing i'll never get tired of seeing. or i just look at the floor about 3 or 4 steps ahead.

I look at for openings in the crowd to get away from slow walking people, I use my forward looking radar to avoid being hit by human torpedos.
