Best place to sell 18K gold?

Does anyone have any recommendations regarding the best place to sell some18K gold jewellery that I no longer wear?

I know that many of the big chains such as Chow Tai Fook buy 24K "chuk kam" gold but do they also buy 18K?

Look forward to hearing any thoughts/suggestions ASAP as I really want to sell while the gold price is so high!!!

i doubt u get much in return for 18ks.. but you can try..
anyway if the items are not 'glaring'... get a quote from any of the big shops and tell us, we can see if anyone here wants to top up an extra 5% to take them over.. 8-P

Post some pictures and link us to them ... I have some I want to sell too. It is bad to sell my wedding gift jewelries? I guess I can keep them but I have no storage room and I will never wear them ... =( I am not a gold person.

no retail shop will buy your 18k gold. maybe they will trade in for very little money.

seriously, I doubt it. But go and ask ASAP! You'd probably be better at a pawn shop. Seems sad to be selling a ring your grandma gave you.

Just post the pictures on the free ads on this site and see if anyone wants to buy. I think you'll get a shock if you try to sell them as gold.
