How would you interpret the following request from the immigration office? (My wife is sponsoring both myself and our daughter but we all currently reside in the US)

2. written submission and evidence on the sponsor and the applicant shift of place of domicile from USA to Hong Kong

I would email enquiry@immd.gov.hk to find out what is required .. sounds like they need proof that you and your daughter are moving from the US to HK if you get the dependent visa.
