I just got approval for the RTL HKID card. I am curious if there is any way to get a home return permit into China. I spend most of my time there. What other options do I have to get some sort of PR card in china or something that allows me to go in and out of china? I appreciate the feedback. Cheers

No - Home Return Permits are for Chinese Citizens, which you are not, so the only way to get one would be to naturalize as a Chinese Citizen (which would involve renouncing your current nationality).

I've no idea whether there is any sort of PR in mainland China other than taking Chinese citizenship, but I doubt it. Basically I think you just need visas. As a HK RTL I think you might be able to get a 3 year multi-entry visa from the Chinese "consulate" in Wanchai.

I just wanted to avoid getting all the stamps I go daily to HK sometimes and live on both sides. I have gotten 2 passports in less then a years time. Thanks for the input. Cheers

Obviously you use the e-channel on the HK side? That means that you halve the number of stamps (only Chinese side).
