    The Arch?? The Metropolis? Living space or convenience?

    I stay around Olympic Station now but was told recently (to my horror) that my landlord sold off the unit and I'm required to move out by early May.

    So basically I'm now on the hunt again. Honestly not a fan of this game...

    I'm considering:
    The Arch, about 580spf, single bedroom, smaller than my current place but closer to work.
    Victoria Towers, slightly below 700spf, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (which is a total waste coz I'm just 1-person show...) Hate how compressed everything is, but really like the balcony leading to a terrace...
    Metropolis,about 600spf or more, my agent highly recommends this and I like the 2-bedroom-into-1 thing so making it seem spacious than it actually is, but I'm not so keen about Hung Hom the location.

    My preference is The Arch. But it seems really small... I'm not used to small apartments. Torn!

    Anyone stays in The Arch right now?

    i was looking in same area/buildings.
    i actually like the VT location better, so that you are not stuck in the luxury mall (kowloon station), and instead in a more ideal surrounding of different expenses levels.

    VT smallest rooms are 718sqft...so not sure how you are finding smaller, and they definitely have lots of larger units upwards to around 3000sqft i think. i just settled on a 718sqft unit in VT and am fairly happy, although would have liked the 770sqft unit we saw if it didnt have all the crappy permanent fixtures.

    metropolis is excellent interior, far better then VT, and i think i saw the same unit you did (2 bedroom converted to open plan 1 bedroom). that was top on my list, but i really didnt want to be in hung hom station since most of the immediate surrounding is all local shops/grocers which means more of a walk/bus ride to get better goods.

    Yes the VT one is about 700spf. I like the balcony but the agent said all these construction make it not really worthy.

    I saw that your VT flat is 18K. That is MUCH LOWER than what my agent quoted!!! You found the agent directly at VT?

    Used a few agents in the area. The balcony facing construction is not worth it... Will be dirty as can be. You should tell them you want 29 floor or lower so there is no balcony and slighty more space utilization.

    As of yesterday there was 4 flats available under 18K in VT. only unit I remember was 30/A in tower 1... 18K but with balcony.

    The views over the park would be good at VT. Not sure if i would like the other side at the moment.

    My agent all quoted me well above 22K for 2 717spf, 2 770spf flats in VT. Then well above 24K for everything in Arch. Now that sounds like a rip-off!
    I'm contacting another agent.

    contact Idy in Centaline (office is next door to 1st floor elevator of VT building on street level)
    tell her you want to see Tower 1 - 30/A and other flats available in the building for under 18K.

    I found a very nice one in The Arch, but not sure whether it can be kept until I need to move out.
    When I confronted my agent she said those are "asking prices", there are room for negotiation.
