Sorry if this is off topic. I just "moved into" my apartment in Bel-Air today although I'm still staying at my serviced apartment through the weekend. Does anyone have problems with the air-conditioning? None of the air-conditioners, except for one, blows out cool air. I have set it on auto or high cool and it still just blows out air. I've also tried setting it all the way down to 17 degrees. I called management on Monday morning, they said they'd scheduled it and call me back. This morning, they still hadn't called me back and then later told me they'd come WEDNESDAY morning at 9:30. This evening, after I rearranged all my morning meetings at work to be in the afternoon, they called me to say that they can't come in the morning and have to come in the afternoon. I gave them no choice but to come in the morning! I just want to make sure I'm not doing anything stupid to the airconditioners before they show up tomorrow.

As mentioned in my post, I set all of them to 17 degrees just to test. Even after hours, they were still not blowing out cool air.

    Shuttle to Sheung Wan

    Can anyone answer the following:

    1. How often does the shuttle from Phase 3 to Sheung Wan run?
    2. How early does it start?
    3. Is taxi the only way to Central from Sheung Wan?

    Thanks!

    1. During rush hours, the shuttle run as often as every 10 minutes. Off-peak hours, about every 30 minutes.
    2. The first shuttle, which is the one I take, leaves at 6:53 am and it gets you to Sheung Wan at about 7:20.
    3. The fastest way, yes. There's also a bus stop and a mini bus stop right almost right in front of where the shutte drops you off. Depending on where in Central you go, there are a few buses/minibuses that could take you there. I just discovered this the other day and was very happy! Alternatively, you can always take the MTR but by the time you walk down to the station and up again, you might as well walk to Central. Walking from where the shuttle is to IFC 2 (not including waiting for the elevators and going up to the office) is about 10 minutes.

    hi Janetw,

We also did an awareness trip end June. And, I particularly liked the area and Bel-air. Mostly because it is more quite and you see less people!
We are also mid thirties without kids. I had a look at several apartments in Phase 3 Tower 5. I was staying in Causeway Bay and took a shuttle from Sogo to Cyber Port. It only took me 20 min. So, traffic wise, it was not bad at all.
