Best Jazz Club in Central/Soho?
Best Jazz Club in Central/Soho? Was curious: What's the best jazz club in Central/Soho? If you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Skylark Lounge on Wyndham St. (Used to be Vibe). Proper jazz lounge, drinks are pricy, but the music's usually good.
Try out the Melting Pot! It's an awesome place to chill while listening to some live jazz.
Oh cool. 2 questions:
1) Has anyone been to skylark lounge? Which night is the best night to go?
2) Any other suggestions for good jazz lounges in Central/Soho?
Jazz/blues singer in the Captain's Bar at the Mandarin every night. The FCC also has live music, but you need to be a member or know a member to get in
Doesn't seem like they have a website...

Nice place to chill and listen to live music. Normally head there after around 11pm.
Also check out Peel Fresco or Joyce is Not Here, both have live music.
Oh, if you google search "melting pot hong kong", while you won't get a website, you will get quite a few hits with reviews, etc.

Peel Fresco is great, I think they have live music every night and it's always been jazz when I've been there. No cover charge.
Gecko in Soho is good, small but comfortable..I remember the live music by Tue, Wed and Thur?
Captain’s Bar at Mandarin is good also, a bit expensive….
Peel Fresco and Gecko also sounds like pretty decent choices. Was wondering if my group is like 8-12 which of the suggested jazz lounges (Skylark, Melting Pot, Peel Fresco or Gecko) would accommodate us best size wise?
