Yeh bow ties plus his carp are quite expensive.

The US President earns 400,000 US$ per year, how much does the CE HK earn, couldnt find that info.

Around US$517k. Singapore dude gets paid US$2.47million.

There is a bit in the SCMP about it today.

$400,000 isn't a high-paying position? Wow! I'd love to have your pay cheque!

Well, considering he's one of the most powerful men in the world, 400k a year isn't exactly high either.

It might not appear to be much now, but I am sure if you factor in that if Obama finishes his 4 year term, and say Hillary takes the reigns, won't Obama see his life out earning the same amount like a very FAT pension plan ? He'll still get the security detail deployed, the limo, the use of the govt air wing, likely get paid $150K US ( or much more ) for motivational public speaking engagements ( Bill Clinton ), and I assume his current $400K salary will continue to be paid out for the rest of his natural life.

How many people enjoy a superannuation plan that pays $400K US a year ?

Or doesn't it work like that ? Bill Clinton seemed to do quiet o.k, after being El Presidente...
