Hong Kong Ends Yuan Cap As Shanghai Opening Approaches

Potential some impacts on the HK Share market? Or does this open new opportunities for investment in China? Isn't this important enough news to warrant a discussion?

Does this remove the limit in both directions? Including Yuan back into HKD?

According to my company's bankers, apparently the people/firms that typically move lots of money into China already have their methods so the impact isn't supposed to be huge and it isn't expected to have a huge market effect - although we'll see.

I read in the standard today that the day after liberalisation the trade was 200 times higher than before liberalisation, but a few days later it had dropped to 4 times higher. So there hasn't been as much change as might have been expected.
