    Size 42 female shoes

    Hey all,

My girlfriend has big feet and need big shoes to fill in. Seems that she isnt able to find anything in hk, unless she buys male styles. Anyone can help her out?

    Regards

It's OK if they're really for you

Can be difficult here, very difficult, above size 40. There is a shoe shop in Stanley that specialises in large sizes....mabye try there.

Vickie's Shoes - two branches in Central. She picks the style, heel height and colour, and they are made in her size with a couple of weeks. They also have many ready made in larger sizes.

Prefer the branch at 3 Queen Victoria Street, Central.

Mind you, I've not ordered 42s.

Buy from overseas by mail order. Ideally from somewhere you know your size fits. I'm size 40 and I'm usually right on the cusp of what they have available here. I just rarely buy shoes in HK!

Agree with Katherine. I take a size 41-42 and buy all my shoes online. I stick to known brands and styles, and buy from shops when overseas for more fitted styles. There is a mail order place in HK that does do bigger sizes of imported shoes begins with Z but I can't remember the exact name, someone will come along hopefully and remind me. Then there is M & S if you are desperate.

dang, we got a bunch of bigfoot on GeoExpat the whole time? i usually go from 42 to 45, depending on the shoe.

this reminds the problem that a lot of asian girls have in US. they can't find any cloth that fits them. some buy kids cloth.
