You'll be responsible for the front-end build of digital projects across web, tablets and mobiles working closely with the rest of the digital team.
What we're looking for:
Someone who can take a web design and produce the HTML and interactive elements it requires
Detail oriented and passionate about your craft
3+ years of solid experience
Strong portfolio of work
Capable of hand-coded semantic, standards compliant HTML
In-depth understanding of CSS
Experience with Javascript and libraries such as jQuery
Appreciation of accessibility issues
Good understanding of user interface requirements and web design
Familiar with responsive design techniques and mobile UX best practices
Even better:
Spoken/written Mandarin and experience with the Chinese digital landscape
Knowledge of progressive enhancement techniques and how to build responsive websites
Experience with Wordpress and other CMS frameworks
Knowledge of HTML5 concepts
Experience with Javascript application frameworks like Backbone.js and Ember.js
Experience with CSS compilers like LESS and Sass
Experience with UX scaffolding and visualization libraries like YUI, Bootstrap and d3.js
Experience with Javascript behaviour-driven development frameworks like Jasmine
