Construction in front of Caribbean Coast

I was wondering if anyone knew what they're doing/building next to the Visionary? They've been moving dirt around for a while now, and we're not sure if they're building more towers or putting in a park or shopping centre there or something.

    Does anyone know?

HK-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. It is stated on the label in front of the construction site.

The bridge is slated for completion in 2016.

Is it true that the developers has to build a certain amount to public housing as well to go with their current build?

If I'm not mistaken, there is a planned public housing development to the right of Visionary. The stretch of land to the left of Visionary (towards Tung Chung Cable Car direction) is for the bridge-associated construction.

I am guessing the bridge wont be open to regular traffic popping over to Macau for a quickie?

I would guess the opposite. They are building a pretty large customs area - I assumed regular people would be accommodated...
