Depression is a terrible thing to deal with alone. I know from years of personal experience and those of my loved ones.
It's good that you are looking for an outlet to talk about it - the best thing you can do is to talk about it - but don't outwardly dismiss one-on-one counselling. Forget the stigma that society has attached to "talking to a shrink".
I have personally used Resource (ReSource The Counselling Centre), who are affordable and excellent. Other people close to me have found success with St. John's Counselling Service (Who we are).
A support group would be an invaluable source of comfort for you, but I cannot profess to know one for depression off hand. In Hong Kong, many support groups are specialised into particular niches to offer more targeted support - such as Alcoholics Anonymous, AlAnon (support for relatives of Alcoholics), Over-eaters Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous etc
I wish you all the best for your search for support, which should be out there in one guise or another, and I implore you to consider talking to a counsellor one-on-one. Everyone needs someone to listen.

Really a combination of the two is extremely helpful especially as you say you have severe depression. You say you know the problem, but the one-to-one sessions will help you cope with the issues. They may also uncover other issues as in my case. Severe depression is a killer, get help.
