Can I just go a little OT and ask a quick question. Considering battery life time; any if you have any experience abt the Galaxy SII vs iPhone 4S? Which one can last me through a full day without charging?
my usage is moderate. Very little talk time, browsing to/from/during work. No gaming
I have a Nexus One at the moment and very satisfied with battery lifetime

I have the SII and normally a single charge will do a full day, however you have to be careful with some applications, i.e. they will suddenly decide to have a mad thirst for CPU power and drain the battery quickly.

In several cases, the first time I notice this is when my pocket starts to get very warm!

    Thanks for the replies

I was in the shop to decide which one to go for....and ended up with a Sony Xperia S
It was a moment of impulsivity(maybe because of sympathy of SONY´s comeback), but luckily I have not regretted my decision yet - now just waiting for the ICS update

    Go to XDA.

    Or download Apex launcher.

I'm not getting my S2 back until later this week (when my gf hopefully gets her Groupon-cheap Nexus), but from what I understood you can at least get the ICS stock launcher by clearing defaults on the Touchwiz launcher in settings... next time you hit home it will let you choose between the TW launcher and the stock one.

Or I could be wrong - I'll find out in a couple of days.

Clear defaults is greyed out on the TwLauncher settings for me. I only have [Clear data] and [Force stop] available.
