I'm not really interested in losing my warranty, you would hope that something made one of the premier companies would work!

Also, who thought up the name?

Quite funny that "Kies" is similar to "Keech" which is a Scottish word for the aforementioned sh1te

    Can someone help me please.

Anyone who has the official update for ICS on the SG2, could you go into "settings", "about phone" and let me know what is says for "baseband version". I'm only interested in the official update, not custom rom updates. Also, ideally for someone who's had it via CSL one2free.

Hopefully someone can help me out.

    Thanks!

Any solution to using the phone from a PC (maybe vnc). Its a pain to type on the small screen when sitting next to a huge monitor.

Does this work on ICS? And it will require me to root the device...

Simply hoping to manage texts while working on the computer (SMS/WhatsApp).
