KMB/Citybus number 171 goes from Lai Chi Kok to South Horizons (SH is on Ap Lei Chau and about a 10 minute walk from Horizon Plaza).

This bus route is high frequency (every 4-9 minutes throughout the whole day). It goes from LCK down Cheung Sha Wan Rd, Nathan Rd (to Yau Ma Tei), then to Hung Hom, then through cross harbour tunnel, then through Aberdeen Tunnel, then a short way to Ap Lei Chai. Cost is $11.10.

From Tsing Yi to Lai Chi Kok should be a short Taxi ride. Or you can take MTR to Lai Chi Kok.

And if you don't fancy walking from South Horizons', the Horizon Plaza has a free shuttle that runs every half hour or so and stops outside the entrance of the car park, near Block 14 or 15. However, the stop is not sign posted, you really do need to look out for bus (and it doesn't wait, simple drop off and pick up only).

For Tsing Yi MTR to Ap Lei Chau, the quickest route as recommended by the Public Transport Enquiry System is to take the MTR to Hong Kong Station then route 91 from Exchange Square bus station. Estimated total duration 60 minutes, total cost $17.

And with two changes you could end up using the route 95 which has a stop right outside Horizon Plaza.

Yes that would work too. But from memory, bus 91 terminates further away from Horizon Plaza. It is still on Ap Lei Chau Island, but not walking distance and not sure about the Horizon Plaza shuttle bus.

Bus 171 from Lai Chi Kok terminates at South Horizons (underneath phase 4 block 25), which is closer to Horizon Plaza (walking distance if its not too hot). Its also about a 60 minute ride so not much time difference between the two routes.

It depends where you live in Kowloon Tong and what time you want to travel but given the lack of bus lanes running south to the CHT you are probably best to catch the KCR to Hong Hum from Kowloon Tong which is just 2 stops and then catch the 171 at the bus interchange.

The bus lane provision heading north is much better so just get the bus back all the way.

There are quite a few bus stops along Nathan Road from Prince Edward to Yau Ma Tei.
