    Which dimsum places in HK don't just steam frozen dimsum manufactured cross the border?

    Loads of places. Look around, There are thousands of dim sum chefs in HK.

    our whole family, including my in-laws (who do dim sum every day of the week) love JUMBO... once you get past the tourists...

    It's been ages since I've been to Jumbo. I always thought of it as a tourist trap serving Westernized "non-authentic" dim sum, but if what you are saying is correct, perhaps I might give it a shot.
