    bringing wine in container

Whats the go with bringing a few cases of wine over in container with house contents. Is there a limit as to how much you can bring under personal effects?

Can this depend on your relocation agent?

Legally I believe it is one litre.

Wine is taxed at something like 80%.

Just putting cases in a standard non-environmentally controlled container has a high chance of spoiling the wine anyway, particularly in the summer.

If it's really good wine then ship it properly (but it's going to cost you a lot in taxes). If it isn't then drink it before you come would be my advice.
